With all the attributes it has, it represents a secured and unique source of data from which the public and private sectors can exercise further credentials, rights and benefits, in both the digital and physical world.
As a robust, unified system composed of several interoperable sub-systems, its main task is to provide unique and secure ID for every individual. More than that, the same system can be used for parallel productions of different types of biometric documents, such as passports, national IDs, driving licenses, etc.
